Mission:
ABC’s For Children is committed to providing exceptional care for children (ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age) to help them develop to their fullest potential: physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally. Our professional staff provides a safe and loving atmosphere so each child can develop a positive healthy self image.  Through developmentally appropriate activities children learn to confidently and independently explore their world to develop a lifelong eagerness to learn in an ever changing world.

Philosophy:
Our professional Staff implements the Creative Curriculum and Pennsylvania Standards within their Keystone 4 star environmentally rated classrooms. Through intentional teaching emergent curriculum is developed as children’s interests encourage growth in all areas of learning. The world is our classroom, as community workers and helpers visit us and our older children visit them. Positive self esteem, independence, and respect for others are encouraged throughout our program and if need be with the assistance of outside professional resources. All families are encouraged to participate and share their values and beliefs within our curriculum and community involvement.

Staff
Our Teachers and Caregivers are a community of professional, passionate, and very dedicated individuals. With credentials of Masters, Bachelors, Associates and CDAs our staff work together to meet the individual needs of all children. All staff attends a minimum of 24 hours of professional staff development, Pediatric CPR, First Aid and Fire Safety each year
